Ambica-Hind (Ambica Dhatu & Hind Commercial), headquartered in Kolkata, India, is a diversified metals and wire solutions group with a legacy of over six decades in serving the power, infrastructure, tyre and industrial sectors. Founded in 1960, now led by Mr. Saurav Bubna, the group integrates manufacturing and trading—spanning zinc oxide, MS/GI wires, Zamak and a wide basket of non-ferrous metals and galvanising/electroplating chemicals.
Our mission is to support India's energy and infrastructure growth by providing reliable, high-performance products and building resilient supply chains. Ambica Dhatu operates modern facilities for zinc oxide and galvanised wire, with capacities of over 8,500+ MT/year of zinc oxide (scalable to 13,000 MT/year) and a 50,000 TPA GI wire facility. Hind Commercial is among India's leading traders of non-ferrous metals, handling 36,000+ MT per year of metals and 5,000+ MT per year of Zamak alloy, giving the group an integrated presence from raw materials to finished products.
With ISO 9001:2015-certified processes in the wire division and ISI-marked products for the power sector, Ambica-Hind focuses on quality, safety and operational excellence. Our portfolio includes GI wire, earth and stay wires, barbed wire, ACSR core wire, cable armouring wire, and specialised zinc products that cater to utilities, EPC contractors, tyre manufacturers and industrial customers across India.
